Volume 2, Issue 2, March 2022, Pages 133-152

Abstract The selection of human actions is influenced by several factors. Some theorists emphasize individual factors and will, and some emphasize the role of peripheral factors. Man, as an autonomous and selective being, chooses his actions in a process that is influenced by the will and the environment. The calculation and selection of consonantal or deviant actions is influenced by environmental factors [physical, psychological, situational, structural (social, economic, ...)]. According to the theories of rational choice, committing wrongdoing is a selective matter and this choice is influenced by various factors and phenomena. Scholars' analysis of the verses and hadiths of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) shows the acceptance of the point in the Shiite teachings that human free will under the influence of environmental factors is limited, which of course does not mean deprivation of authority, and this article examines the effects of environmental factors. In general, it explains and analyzes. In the analysis of this category, some limiting and influential factors in human selection from the perspective of Islamic sources have been pointed out and the study of these variables has been followed at the micro, intermediate and macro levels, respectively. The research method is descriptive and qualitative content analysis. The purpose of this research is to analyze the content of the Quran and narrative and interpretive sources. The subject is also: describing the view of the Qur'an and Shiite hadiths about the mapping of environmental factors in the calculation and selection of voluntary actions. The analysis of the axes of verses and narrations indicates the similarity of the contents of these teachings with the axes of modern theories of deviant sociology.

Abstract The logic of social life is based on culture. Depending on the type of cultural system, the goals, structure and content of society can be defined and the division of society into desirable and undesirable means. Accordingly, the determination of social injuries, their classification, and the type of interpretation that takes place from them vary from culture to culture. Therefore, in the subject of social pathology, defining the criteria and indicators of social injuries is one of the focal issues. The two ideal types of good and evil are the two dominant models of society in Quranic literature. Evils are injuries that lead the purity and health of the good society in the path of the instincts and requirements of the ignorant society. This research has tried to network the Qur'anic concepts in the framework of the epistemological system of the Qur'an through thematic and semantic interpretation methods and to deduce the criteria and indicators of social injuries in accordance with the image that the Qur'an presents of a healthy and damaged society. All topics are categorized into two levels. At the level of diagnostic criteria, the three principles: right, justice and solidarity have been analyzed and, in fact, the logic of understanding and recognizing injuries has been revised. The sum of them, what they are, the consequences, and the logic of injury control are also understood.

Renewal: The ravages of marriage and the formation of a family

Volume 1, Issue 1, September 2020, Pages 179-192

Abstract A pattern of marriage is subject to the cultural system. The arrival of modern culture in the Muslim world has made Islamic families face serious problems. Some try to reconcile modernity and the Islamic family, but the reality is that modernity has a fundamental conflict with Islam and the institution of the family. Homelessness in the Western world is the product of modern civilization and modernism has damaged the Islamic world in all areas, especially in the family. Pattern injury of marriage is one of the basic elements of these injuries. To explain this issue, first, a general picture of the family in Islam, the fundamental beliefs and personality of modern human beings is presented. Then, by referring to the requirements of modern culture, the harms of marriage have been rationalized in the form of concepts: sexual commodification, personality heterogeneity, idealization, inability to perform tasks and lowering the threshold of patience and compromise. The totality of the research shows the roots of the problems and how to build a strong Islamic family by consciously confronting modernity.

Analyzing the content of the deviations of the powerful and the rich in the light of Quranic verses and the theory of contradiction

Abstract Many functional structural theories emphasize only social deviations; but some of the group's thinkers, such as Sutherland, have investigated white-collar devitions and corruption, there are other major political and economic deviations in Qur'anic verses and the theory of conflict that have more dangerous consequences and more complex dimensions. In this article, the categories of such deviations are extracted from the theory of contradiction by qualitative content analysis method and then presented to the Qur'an and the final categories and subcategories are extracted. According to these categories, the deviations of the powerful and the rich in the first place harm the thoughts and feelings of the powerful and make them reckless towards others, cultural principles and waste of valuable economic resources. They also justify and institutionalize deviant behaviors through influence, culture, and legitimacy. By exploiting, monopolizing, colonizing, creating false needs, introducing deviant reference groups, they force others to obey and imitate. Therefore, the mechanisms of the deviations of the able are different from the deviations of the poor. The able-bodied use emotional mechanism, intellectual, and normative mechanisms to produce deviations. Their deviations have unintended consequences, such as the escape of the powerful and the rich from social responsibilities and the spread of indifference. Their deviations ultimately destroy the culture and structure of society, although it is more difficult to control and explain due to the legitimacy and influence of the powerful, and the verses of the Qur'an are the best source for examining it.
