Abstract
The social changes resulting from the American and European sexual revolutions have led to many changes in lifestyles and laws around the world. The view of Iranian society on this revolution, in European countries and the United States, as well as the analysis of the effects of this revolution in Iran, is an important question that seemed taboo for a long time, but in recent years has become a concern that has forced some people to made documentaries in this field. In this study, we tried to analyze two examples of these documentaries, the differences and commonalities in the view of Iranian society on the sexual revolution in Europe and the United States, as well as comparing the social conditions of Iran and countries with sexual revolution, from the perspective of these documents as a mirror From the community, let's pay. The theoretical framework chosen in this study is Sorrell's theory of film as a mirror of society, and also the method used in this analysis is the semiotic method according to Saussure's view. Among the documents made in the field related to the sexual revolution, in this study, we have evaluated and compared the two documentaries "Xonami" by Mohsen Aghaei and "Sexual Revolution 1" by Hossein Shamaqdari, both of which were the most visited and controversial documents in this field. In addition, by proposing Islamic views, an attempt has been made to compare or contrast the representations of the two documentaries with Islam.
